EXHAUSTED

I am glad the Science Fair is over.
I am glad the Musical is in it's final rehearsals...still have to make those costumes.
My house looks like a demilitarized zone.
My children are in bed. Two are giggling, one is crying, one is saying, "I'm going to tell Mom if you don't stop kicking me!
I'm wondering why I feel such a strong desire to stay in bed until 8:30 every day!
We have been rolling around on the floor laughing at Junie B. Jones.
I'm reinstating corporal punishment.
I think it's appropriate that our last History Unit was the Black Death.
I am wondering if I'm teaching my children enough, loving them enough, leading them enough.
I'm glad we don't watch TV.
I don't get enough exercise.
I don't get enough time with my husband.
I think we should all watch a movie in bed tomorrow and eat popcorn and M&M's.
I can throw a couple Grammar lessons in there...

Chinese Lanterns

Obviously we haven't done any school for the past three months because I haven't posted anything but paper lanterns!

Medieval Castles

We like to make things out of food at our house so we can eat our projects and don't have to find a place to store them.

This is our Rice Krispie Treat castle. Complete with walls, towers, keep, gatehouse, bailey, garderobe, and portcullis. We didn't think it could handle a moat.

Vikings

Here are our Viking Long Houses made of cookies, pretzels, and coconut for the thatched roofs.

They also built a model flat bottomed Viking ship. That's just out of paper. We didn't eat that.
